Emma's photographic ability, technically and visually is truly unique. She is a very talented artist with a good eye for detail, composition and a bold and distinctive style. Her purpose is to create photos with a difference, photographs that stand out and push the borders of imagery to the limit.
She is highly skilled not only as a photographer but as a digital retoucher. Nowadays all images you see in magazines and adverts will have been subject to some form of digital manipulation and retouching is an art in itself, liked by some and disliked by others.
As you can see from Emma's images, her speciality is photographing people. She is able to capture her subject's beauty and personality while applying her highly individual style to create powerful and provoking images.
In February 2007 after much deliberation, Emma finally decided to upgrade to a bigger studio. She had been working from her home studio, undertaking headshots and model folios but desperately wanted to be able to take on a more feminine and exciting type of photography - boudoir and vintage glamour!
Rather than kit it out her newly acquired space like a typical studio, she decided to make it truly vintage and unique, fully suiting it's purpose. It is now a parlour, a vintage parlour at that! A whole room that has furniture, mirrors, chandeliers, candles, cushions, feathers and antiques etc! She didn't want white walls, ikea furniture, a modern room with sets in the corner, she wanted to make it so everything could be used and no matter where in her studio you went or looked you still felt as though you had travelled back in time!
